Description

OPIA n. the ambiguous intensity of looking someone in the eye, which can feel simultaneously invasive and vulnerable. As a team we are focusing on creating peculiar games to share a picture of what's going on in our minds.

History

How it Started

The first time we worked together on a project was also the first time we met. The 2018 Global Game Jam took place in January and we were introduced to the team by a friend of ours. Since we had a lot of common interests and a good working alchemy, we stayed in touch for the next two years. Despite one of us leaving to study abroad, we always remained faithful to our will to create stuff together. We started working on a game project called « Planetari » in October 2019 but the game was abandoned because of school projects and work that would consume a lot of our time. In August 2020, we gathered a team of friends and organized a game jam during which we created a game called « Victor and the mystery of the mysterious meat machine ». By October 2020, we began working little by little on the concept of a game that would eventually become The Lone Blade.
